El Mestizo is a Oaxacan restaurant in Santa Ana. This unique place will make you feel like you are in Oaxaca with its unique cuisine and plates that will leave you wanting more!
In my experience the food was great and low priced, staff was super friendly and the whole experience got even better when a man came in to play guitar and sing songs that were obviously know by other guests that joined in the singing (creating a nice atmosphere without it being to loud or overwhelming). I highly recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant!

Authentic delicious Mexican Food, I haven’t been to Oaxaca but I know what real homemade food should taste like and this is as authentic as you can get. I’ve tried “Tipico Oaxaqueño” and Enchiladas de Mole; even the chips and mole appetizer is amazing! Horchata and rose petal ice cream are so good!!!

The food was amazing! I just wish the service was a little better, it took her 5 minutes for her to take our drink orders. 10 minutes later she came and took our food order. The food was fresh so we we didn’t mind. Give this place a try it was amazing.
